I’m Stanley Desbas, a brand photographer specializing in creating intentional, art-driven imagery for entrepreneurs and business leaders who want to be seen clearly and confidently. At the core of my work is one belief: great photography isn’t about taking pictures ,it’s about creating photographs that feel authentic, thoughtful, and purposeful.
My creative foundation began long before I ever picked up a camera. I grew up in Haiti, where imagination was a necessity. With limited resources, I learned how to create with what was available, turning ordinary objects into something meaningful. That ability to see potential, build from scratch, and tell visual stories is still central to how I work today.
My career took me to New York City, where I worked in the fashion industry and built a high-profile, high-end reputation as a photographer known for more than technical skill. I became known for creating complete visual experiences, handling production, set design, lighting, and image management to bring ideas to life with clarity and impact.
Clients work with me because I make the process easy. I create an environment where people feel safe, comfortable, and confident in front of the camera. I handle the details so they don’t have to worry, allowing them to focus on showing up as themselves.
My style is vibrant, colorful, expressive, and intentional. It’s never generic or cookie-cutter. Every project is approached with creativity, care, and a deep respect for individuality.
Now based in Charlotte, I work with entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders who value originality, professionalism, and thoughtful storytelling. Whether it’s a personal brand, campaign, or full production, my goal is always the same: to create imagery that reflects who you truly are and elevates how you’re seen.
